Rajasthan: Black fungus case reached HC, demand for compensation of five lakh rupees to patients

Advocate Siddharth has filed an appeal in the Rajasthan High Court. It has also been mentioned in this appeal that the Rajasthan government has declared Black Fungus on epidemic.

In the midst of the Corona crisis, black fungus is also causing trouble. Rajasthan is also not untouched by black fungus.  The case of black fungus has now reached Rajasthan High Court in the state. The High Court has sent a notice to the principal secretaries of state health.The notice has to be answered by 28 june.

A Public Interest Litigation was filed by advocate Siddharth Jain in the Rajasthan High Court. This petition also mentions that the Rajasthan government has declared Black Fungus on epidemic. The petitioner has asked questions on preparations for black fungus in the state. They have also claimed that the injections used to treat black fungus are being black marketed.

He also said that people's organs are getting damaged due to black fungus. What compensation has been decided by the government for such patients. He has demanded the state government to give compensation of five lakh rupees to black fungus patients.

Rajasthan's Medical Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma decided to set the rates of various investigations related to Kovid and Black Fungus in private hospitals of the state in view of the increasing cases of black fungus.
